Men Walk Into Raleigh On Way To New York
p>Two friends are raising money and awareness up the East Coast, one step at a time.

Jose Morales and friend Tako are walking 25 miles in each state, starting in Florida and ending September 11 in New York. They carry a 50-pound cross along the way. Sunday, the two walked into Raleigh as part of their journey.

Council Considers High-Speed Rail Options
p>Raleigh attorney and resident Ben Kuhn thinks he has the solution to solve the debate over a high-speed rail path through Raleigh--a whole new route.

Closure At Lake Wheeler Didn't Ruin Holiday Plans
p>It's been a summer of bacteria scares at Lake Wheeler.

The beach area has been closed five times this summer season. The most recent closure happened last Friday -- the start of Labor Day weekend.

$6 Million Bond In ID Theft Case
p>A victim of identity theft said "it's been a full-time job" trying to get her life back together, after Heather Lynn Holley of Raleigh allegedly stole the identities of several people.
